Join us in changing the world, and supporting the 9/11 heroes who are now struggling to cover their medical bills and feed and house their families. This is a chance to make a real difference.
Our 9/11 responders are still dealing with health effects.
Our program was created for 9/11 first responders. These men and women were there when we needed them and did heroic work saving lives and dealing with the terrible aftermath. It's hard to truly grasp the horror that these brave people encountered that day and in the days that followed.
Our goal is to provide them with a way to help their families for the long term with proceeds generated by clean energy creation. First Responders will receive either free electricity or reimbursements for their power use. We want to give them a boost in income, a boost that they need due to ongoing disabilities and other problems that are rooted in our nation's tragedy. If you are a confirmed 9/11 responder, let us know so we can tell you more about the program we have designed just for you.
Reduce CO2 pollution & make a better world.
The time is perfect for solar power generation. The world desperately needs energy solutions that solve problems created by conventional electricity generation.
In the United States alone, 50% of all electricity is generated by coal-powered plants and 20% comes from natural gas-powered plants. Both create large amounts of pollution. More than you can imagine.
Our first solar energy farm will create 10 Megawatts of power each hour. Solar energy can prevent the emission of 24,000,000 pounds of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year. That's the same physical area as more than 2,200 average homes!
We would have to plant almost 25,000 acres of trees – that’s nearly four square miles of forest – to remove that amount of carbon from the air.
Jockey Hill- 50 acres of reclaimed land.
Our solar farm is located on the Jockey Hill landfill in Kingston New York. Landfills are where we bury our trash and other waste, and even when they are cleared, capped and stable, former landfills are not suitable places to build homes or businesses. They are, however, perfect places for solar farms.
We are very concerned about the environment. We will plant trees and pollinating flowers to ensure we remain carbon neutral and to provide support for our local bee colonies.
Even a small donation will make a difference. We are completing our final engineering studies, legal permits and paperwork to complete inter-connection process. Please give generously.
You can even share in the benefits of solar with no roof required!
Maybe you would like to have solar panels on your home, but the cost deters you. Perhaps your home has too many shade trees, or it’s not oriented in the correct position. Or, maybe you don't have access or permission to install panels on your roof. You can still participate in community solar – and reduce the charges on your electric bill – by purchasing just one panel that is located on our farm. You can add more panels at any time, and share in the revenue that we produce together. Plus, you'll provide help to our 9/11 heroes, and reduce pollution in our atmosphere. Click HERE for more information.
We want to create positive social and environmental change.
Solar Alliance Freedom was created to address important social and environmental issues that require serious attention. If you feel the same way, here's your opportunity to join a movement that offers some real solutions.
The Jockey Hill land (50 acres) has been purchased, and now we need to get the solar farm approved by New York State and local governments. The land survey has been completed, insurances need to be purchased and legal representation has been obtained.
Engineering drawings must be created and approved.
Most of the initial engineering planning is complete, but our plans need to be finalized and signed off on. This requires third party engineering companies to review and check all the documentation.
Build the first 6 megawatts of power generation.
We’re working to secure an agreement with the City of Kingston to supply the electricity required to power the City’s planned micro-grid. This grid will provide non-polluting power to its buildings and facilities and ensure that the City of Kingston can continue to serve citizens whenever a widespread power outage occurs.
Support community solar.
Your involvement and donations will help reduce carbon based pollution levels, and help alleviate the day-to-day financial stresses that many 9/11 First Responders are experiencing.
But soon, you'll be able to be involved in a new approach, too. You can still participate in community solar – and reduce the charges on your electric bill - by purchasing your own non-polluting solar panels at Jockey Hill solar farm. You’ll receive all the benefits of using renewal energy without the investment of thousands of dollars or having to add solar panels to your roof.
You’ll benefit personally, but best of all, you’ll provide help to our 9/11 First Responders and help reduce pollution in our atmosphere.
Help us spread the word please!
Our team.
Azriel Alleyne
The time is perfect for solar power generation. On September 12, 2001 Azriel Alleyne, who was then a member of the National Guard, was ordered to the site of the Twin Towers to provide help to survivors and other first responders. The experiences he had that day have changed his life forever. Those first days at the site of the towers were traumatic and in fact, toxic to the health of everyone who breathed in the airborne pollution. Like many others, Azriel worked at the site and did what he could.
The result was a massive change in his physical health that has required a ten year recovery. At his lowest point, Azriel realized that the best way to heal himself was to help other first responders. He created Solar Alliance Freedom, a program that’s open to anyone. His determination has resulted in an opportunity for the rest of us to heal the planet and share in the benefits. Join him in changing the world.

SOLAR ALLIANCE TERMS OF SERVICE AND ROYALTY AGREEMENT
Here's a summary of our Terms and Conditions. To read the entire agreement, scroll down.
1. When you purchase solar panels from us you will automatically receive a Royalty Agreement that provides you regular royalty payments provided your panel or panels are located on our solar farm and are generating power. The royalty payments reflect the total revenue that your panels generate.
2. We charge a monthly fee to maintain and insure your panels, and to connect them to the power company so you can receive payments . Your panels come with the manufacturer's warranty, but if that is not enough to cover a problem, we will cover the cost to fix the panel.
3. Your royalty payments are calculated and sent to you every three months and are calculated by us based on the total electricity that was generated by your panels for the previous three months. The royalties you receive are 100% of the revenue generated by your panels, minus our monthly hosting fees which are usually 15%-20% of the total revenue your panels produce.
4. You own the solar panels you purchase through us and you get all the tax benefits available to you. You should check with your accountant or tax preparer to see how your specific situation would effect your tax benefits.
5. Occasionally, the revenue we receive from the power company for the electricity the solar farm changes , and that's out of our control. So the actual royalty you receive will change accordingly. Likewise, the amount of sun the panels receive varies by season and year, so again, your royalty payments may vary each quarter.
6. When you purchase your solar panels through us you must place them on our farm, and for a minimum of five years, in order to get any tax advantages and for us to plan our power output.
7. After five years you have the option to re-establish your agreement with us, or we may offer you a fair price for your panels.
That's our summary. Again, please read the entire Terms and Conditions agreement in full by scrolling down.

5. ROYALTIES As a component of SAF's Services, SAF provides royalty payments to Subscriber. Royalty payments constitute a portion of the revenue generated by the Subscriber's solar panels which are located at an SAF hosting facility. The Royalty Rate is a percentage of gross revenue generated through the generation of electricity by the SAF facility where the Subscriber's solar panels are housed. The Royalty Rate is established quarterly. Royalties generated by the Subscribers's solar panels are calculated by dividing the gross sales receipts generated by the facility at which the Subscriber's solar panels are installed and operational for the period, by the total electricity generated for the same period (Gross Revenue Per Kilowatt). Subscriber's Royalties are calculated by multiplying the Gross Revenue Per Kilowatt by the Subscriber's total solar panel or panels generation capacity per hour, and then by the Royalty Rate. Gross sales receipts are defined as the total revenue earned and received by the SAF facility solely through the generation of electricity, in the Royalty Period. Royalties are calculated on a quarterly basis (Royalty Period), specifically January 1 through March 31; April 1 through June 31; July 1 through September 30; and, October 1 are ending December 31. Royalty payments are made thirty (30) days after the close of the Royalty Period, Royalties are determined from books and records maintained in accordance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), consistently applied throughout the organization and across all connections which are giving rise to gross sales receipts of electricity. Subscribers have the options of a) receiving Royalty Payments in cash on a quarterly basis, or b) reinvesting their Royalty Payments by purchasing additional solar panels to be housed at the SAF facility.
6. REVENUE STREAM The SAF solar facility on Jockey Hill in Ulster County, New York is planned to be placed online and connected to a revenue generation entity on or around January 1, 2015. Revenue generation and therefore Royalties and Royalty Payments will not be created until the day and time when the facility becomes online and electricity is flowing to a purchasing entity. Additional solar panels purchased by Subscribers are installed and connected on a monthly basis and are usually placed online on the first day of the month following installation and testing.
7. TAX CONSIDERATIONS Whereas Federal US and US State tax relief for the purchase and operation of solar power generation equipment is often available to qualified tax payers, SAF cannot guarantee that any tax benefits will be available to Subscribers and/or purchasers of solar panels, either currently or at any point in the future. Subscribers and/or purchasers are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO CONSULT THEIR ACCOUNTANT OR TAX ADVISOR TO ESTABLISH THEIR POTENTIAL TAX BENEFITS.
